Character Name: He doesn't have one. He'd be officially listed as "the boy".
Canon: Draw With Me
Canon Point: Post-video.

Personality: The boy is a calm and cool character, with a bit of snark about him as well but almost no ill intent. He's a friendly person, who opens up to anyone and tries to make strangers feel welcome. He's quiet, but it doesn't take him long to get animated and loud. He has the air of an artist, someone who tests the boundaries carefully and then jumps in. And of course, like any artist, he likes searching out other artists and sharing art with them. There's nothing better to him than finding a friend who can talk about the same things he's interested in, and has a similar sense of humor. When that happens he becomes very close to them, to the point where he'll do anything to keep them close and safe and happy. It even causes completely irrational choices if he thinks it will help them; as seen when he tries to break through the glass wall in order to reach his friend.
Unfortunately, the events of the video cost him his left arm (he's left-handed), and his trust of the close friend he'd gotten. It's taught him to be a little more cautious about other people, and try not to make rash decisions. He still does, but he tries not to. He's more docile now, saddened by his inability to draw like he wants to and the ideas that pop into his head that can't be put onto paper. He has also developed an irrational nervousness around cats, because they remind him of his friend. Not one that will show up as fear, but just an unsettled feeling when a cat is too close to him.
To clear up a little about the two of them; the boy isn't really scared of the girl. He's scared of what she did in the end, and how far she was actually willing to go in order to keep drawing with him. He doesn't really know how to handle that. But if he saw her again, he would apologize, and he would keep talking to her as best as he could. He still wants to meet her in a situation where they can hold hands and such; those feelings never went away. He still considers her to be the best thing that ever happened to him.

This is all of his canon, right here.

As far as his hand is concerned, it's my assumption that his "real" self was in a coma after a car accident, during which his hand was crushed and had to be amputated.

Abilities: Once upon a time he was an artist, and a good one at that. He's left-handed, and could write mirrored with exceptional skill when that hand was still usable. But with his right hand, his lines are scrawled and messy, and one would expect. Otherwise, he's confirmed to be able to punch through reasonably thick glass; that's about it.

Strengths: He's usually logical and thoughtful. He's always loyal to his friends, no matter what, and he's not afraid to get hurt if it keeps them safe.
Weaknesses: His left hand was destroyed, so he has difficulty with a lot of tasks. He is quite sharply left-handed and very clumsy with his right hand, so he's also slow at completing even one-handed tasks.

First Person Sample: [Video]
[He looks around quietly, not seeming to notice he's being recorded. His ears bounce up and down, testing the sights and sounds around him.]
I've never seen so many people before... I wonder who those strange people were.
[His ears go completely vertical when he notices the communicator is recording him.] Oh, w-whoops! Hey! Er... [He chews his cheek for a second before speaking.] Has anyone seen a girl with cat ear-- Wait, no, that's not important! Can someone tell me where I am first? The doctors in that building, er... Well, they explained it, but it didn't make any sense. Can someone tell me in simpler terms? [It looks like he's covering up the question about the girl... He's not quite ready to start looking for her.]
Third Person Sample: For the last few days, he'd mostly stayed in bed. Sometimes he'd leave his room, but on the most part he ate in bed, lay the bowls aside for his housemate to take away, and slept. There wasn't a whole lot of ambition past that; life was pretty hard anyway without both hands, but harder when he couldn't think of anything worthwhile waiting if he tried to work around it.
Today he'd been asked to try writing with his right hand, but it didn't help much. His sloppy writing always dribbled down into sloppy doodles, and he was left to look at what would have looked good just a week or two ago. But, with nothing else to do, he kept trying to get better.
Now he was at it again, carefully placing the triangle-like ears, curved chin, large eyes... a reasonable immitation of his friend from across the glass. But there he stopped and watched the drawing, with his pencil still tilted as if to add another line. That friend wasn't here. And no one had ever seen her. If he'd been able to draw this well before, or if he'd lost his right hand instead, he could have drawn with her one last time before he woke up here.
The pencil dropped out of his hand, and he quietly rose from his chair. He slunk back to his bed, ignoring the food that had been left out for when he finished practicing. That friend had given up her arm for him... he shouldn't be this far away from her. This city only made him sad, even when there were so many people around him. He'd take even the place with the glass wall over this.
